Frequently asked questions

What to expect, booking, payment and visiting the practice.

Do I need to believe in Reiki?
No. There is nothing to visualise and no belief system to adopt. Curiosity or a wish for some quiet time is enough.
What happens during a session?
We begin with a short conversation. You then lie down fully clothed while I gently place my hands on areas we have agreed on. We finish with time to settle and talk if you wish. You can ask for a pause at any time.
How much time should I allow?
One hour, including our conversation before and after the Reiki session.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothes that you can lie down in. You remain fully clothed throughout the session.
What does “choose your contribution” mean?
Your first visit is a full one-hour session, with the same care and attention as a follow-up. You choose how much to contribute, with no eligibility requirements. The standard €60 rate is a reference point; your contribution is up to you.
How do booking and payment work?
For a first session, choose a time and enter your details in the calendar. The Stripe payment module appears below the calendar: once you have booked your time, choose your contribution and pay on the same page. Use the same email address for both steps. For a €60 follow-up, payment is handled within the calendar.
How do I know I have finished?
Check both: the date and time in your booking email, and the payment status on Stripe or your receipt. A payment receipt alone does not book an appointment. If anything is unclear, email contact@mbholistique.fr before booking or paying again.
Can I reschedule or cancel?
You can request a new time by contacting me at least 48 hours before your appointment. Sessions are otherwise non-cancellable and non-refundable, subject to your statutory rights. Email contact@mbholistique.fr. Read the full terms.
Where is the practice?
58 passage Brady, 75010 Paris. The nearest metro stations are Château d’Eau and Strasbourg–Saint-Denis, with Gare de l’Est also nearby. Visits are by appointment. Get directions.
What might I feel?
Clients often describe feeling deeply relaxed, calmer and more present in their bodies; some tell me they slept especially well afterwards. Warmth or emotions can arise during a session too. These are personal experiences, and there is room for yours to be your own.
How often should I come back?
After your first visit, you can book a follow-up session for €60, lasting one hour. Come back whenever you would like to make time for yourself. There is no required schedule, package or subscription.
Does Reiki replace medical care?
No. This is a wellbeing practice. It does not replace a diagnosis, treatment, or medical or psychological care. Do not change a treatment because of a Reiki session.
Can we discuss accessibility or other needs?
For questions about access, touch, comfort or a particular need, contact me before booking so we can discuss what is possible.
What should I do afterwards?
You can carry on with your day as usual. If you feel like it, leave a little time for a walk or a quiet pause. No ritual or particular effect is expected. You are welcome to email me about your experience.
